Our verdict
Status
This promise has been delivered. The Scottish Government ran a consultation on building regulations and energy standards between July and November 2021. Views were sought on the proposed regulatory changes. In December 2021, the administration published a fuel poverty strategy which reaffirmed the intention to implement these proposed regulations. This comprises fulfilment of the pledge to “review” energy standards.
