Our verdict
Status
This promise is in progress. As part of the “Reaching 100%” (R100) broadband rollout, the Scottish Government committed to delivering over 200km of subsea cables to connect areas of the highlands and islands to full fibre. Work to deliver these cables is scheduled to begin in mid-2022.
