Our verdict
Status
This promise is in progress. In October 2021 the Scottish Government awarded £3.4m to eight companies as part of the first round of the Scottish Industrial Energy Transformation Fund, which was first announced in late 2020. The administration indicated that a total of £34m would be administered as part of the scheme over its five year lifetime. The second round is now open for applications and will close on the 11th of December 2021.
