Our verdict
Status
This pledge is in progress. The Scottish Government continues to supply Baby Boxes to expectant parents. In November 2021 reaffirming its support for the initiative, the administration announced that 200,000 boxes had been delivered in total since the scheme began in 2017. This promise will be considered achieved if the programme is maintained for the duration of the current Scottish Parliament session.
